Product Description

Acriflavine is a powder which is derived from acridine and appears to be brown or orange in color and works as a topical antiseptic. In biochemistry, it is useful in fluorescent labeling of RNA having high molecular weight. Moreover, this find application for treating fungal infections of fishes that are kept in aquarium. During First World War, it was used to prevent sleeping sickness. Although, the mentioned compound is used for various purposes, however, proper precautions to taken into consideration while using it. If inhaled, Acriflavine may cause irritation to eyes and this dye may stain skin by causing skin irritation.
